About

A few years ago my four year old granddaughter suffered from bad eczema. Nothing seemed to help much, then I came across an article about Calendula . Having used it myself when I’d had babies of my own, I believed it could help. We had calendula flowers in the garden so we gave it a go. The balm we made really helped soothe the dry irritation on Isabelle’s skin safely and naturally, which inspired me to keep going and adding to the range.

The Calendula Officinalis is planted in October and put in the cold frame to give us a good start in the spring. We plant more in April/May depending on the Cornish weather, so our season is quite long. These tough little flowers will carry on right until the first frosts. They have even adorned our Christmas wreaths!

No Pesticides are used here and the amount of pollinators that visit the beds is incredible!
